Afoko, Agyapong in secret Kumasi meeting

Graphic Online can confirm that as at the time of filing this report, New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong, and National Chairman, Paul Afoko, were holding a meeting with some NPP constituency executives in Asokwa in Kumasi.
Sources say that they had to move the venue to about three different locations for fear of being attacked.
Currently, about 25 machomen are protecting a house at Asokwa where the meeting is being held.
A source within the Regional Executive confirmed that they were aware of the meeting.
The source likened the meeting to a similar one in Bolgatanga to which the then Upper East Chairman of the party, Mr Adams Mahama, opposed, culminating in rancour within the party.
